How Hires Work
New to hiring jumping castles? Just want to know how it works? Easy! See below:
General Backyard Hire Scenario:
1. Pick your castle, check you have the space + access: Book Online or over the Phone.
2.You will get a confirmation email straight away after booking and we will call you to touch base a few days before party.
3. On the day of hire we will set up the castle 1hr mimimum before booking starts (i.e 11am set up for a 12-4pm booking). Set up takes 30 minutes.
4. After we set up we will run you through the safe use of the castle and leave it with you for the day.
4. Sit back and enjoy your party all day! We will be back when the booking finishes to pack it up! Its that easy!
** All Hires Require these imperative things: **
-The actual space to have the castle set up! Must be relatively flat. Each castle has space required on its page.
-ACCESS: We need from .5m to 1.5m clear access down paths, gates, sides of houses etc with NO major STAIRS. Castles weight up to 200kg and are like a giant rolled up sleeping bag.
-POWER: if you don't have access to a normal power point let us know. We bring our own leads up to 25m.
General backyard hire for private party:
1st: Check you have the required space and access for the castle you would like then book it in online or over the phone.
On The Day Of Hire:
An installer arrive at your house as a time specified earlier (when booking in). This time is generally 1 hour prior to your booking starting but sometimes can be earlier if we are going that way already. You may get bonus hire time free as long as it is suitable.
We will set up your castle in roughly 30 minutes. You will then be instructed on the safe use of the castle and sign off on the supervision. We will leave it with you for the hire time and return after your hire finishes to pack up. Once again taking about 30 minutes!
Its that easy!
Eg: Jane books her castle online. She will receive a confirmation email within 24hrs saying its all good. We will also call about 2 days prior to the party just to double check all is correct and to clarify set up time if we needed to get there earlier.
On the day we will be there spot on, install the bouncy castle, Jane has her party and an awesome day, we arrive after the booking finishes: pack up the castle and that's it!
Work parties/ Events/ Public Event Hires:
The process for a work party is much the same in terms of booking etc but following points are worth considering:
-Set up can takes more like 45 minutes- 1hr as we will bring safety fencing to go around the castle
-A Supervisor is generally needed from our company to remain with the jumping castle and supervise the children. This costs $40 - $60hr depending on the day of hire and location. Sometimes if its a small event it may not be needed.
-Set up time will be closer to booking time and pack up spot on due to paying our supervisors. I.e booking is for 12-4pm for a fete: we will get there at 11am to set up, 12pm the supervisor arrives to look after castle and we return at 4pm to relieve supervisor and pack up.
-ACCESS & POWER: Please consider access to the area you would like the castle to be set up as events can be hectic. We need close access as we bring more equiptment with us and close access reduces set up time.
If the event is in a park you need to consider access to power. We can supply a petrol blower or generator if needed at an extra charge: generally $80 for petrol blower or $120 for generator.
