What time can I hire a Jumping Castle?

Our standard hiring times for the 4hour and 7 hour packages are between 7:30am and 4:30pm.

Give us a call for a quote outside of these hours. We also hire castles OVERNIGHT for parties finishing later than times above (see next question)

Can I hire a Jumping Castle overnight?

Yes - provided the jumping castle is kept in a secure, fenced yard with no loose animals. Just switch it off at the end of the night. And switched back on the next morning to air out.

An overnight hire incurs a $100 fee

Overnight hire is perfect for parties finishing later (e.g. past 5:30pm).

Late pack-down (After 4:30pm) fees starting from $50. Please confirm when booking.

Do you require a deposit?

Usually, no deposit is required. However, during peak seasons we may request a $50 deposit to secure your booking via credit card or EFT. This deposit is only refundable if the booking is cancelled due to weather.

What happens if you cancel a booking?

Weather Cancellations:

If you or we cancel due to severe weather, a full refund is typically given (reschedule preferred). We provide weather updates the day before your booking. If you choose to proceed against advice and the castle isn't used, no refund applies.

Other Cancellations:

- More than 2 weeks' notice: full refund of any deposit.

- Less than 2 weeks' notice: up to 50% of booking charged.

- Less than 1 weeks' notice: up to full booking price charged.

If a castle is booked, it can't be hired to anyone else. Late cancellations cost us other potential customers.

Booking Alterations:

If equipment must be changed due to weather, access, or space, we reserve the right to charge for the original item. We may offer a credit for the difference in value for future bookings.

What happens if the Jumping Castle cannot be set up on the day of hire?

If setup is not possible due to access issues, unsafe surfaces, slopes, or other reasons outside our control (as outlined in confirmation emails), the full hire fee will be charged.

We provide clear requirements on our website and confirmation emails to ensure a safe and smooth set-up - Safety is our top priority.

Does someone from your company stay during the party?

No - not for standard private hires. The hirer is responsible for supervision. For events, fetes, and schools, we offer supervisor services. Just ask for a quote.

Does Jump Easy provide qualified supervisors for events?

Yes! Our trained team can supervise at private, public, corporate, school or community events.

How much space and access do I need for a Jumping Castle?

Generally, 1m wide clear access is required. Each product page lists specifics.

Setup areas range from 5x5m to 20x20m! Please let us know about stairs or slopes ahead of time. (Costs may apply)

Vehicle access within 10m is required for multiple inflatables, large items (180kg+), or corporate hires.

How long does it take to set up/pack up the Jumping Castle?

Setup and pack-down usually takes 20-40 minutes. Clear access speeds things up. Our team handles it all - no need for you to lift a finger!

Does the castle need to be on grass?

We require clean, flat ground - ideally grass or indoors (e.g. a gym). Ride on units can not set up on hard outdoor surfaces. Power access is needed and preferred, but we can supply generators. (costs apply)

How much does it cost to hire Jumping Castle?

Jump Easy hire costs are guaranteed to be the lowest in Adelaide. Our hire prices Start from only $190! We will beat any competitors price by 5%.

What happens on the day?

An installer will generally arrive at least 1 hour before your booking starts (e.g. 11am for a 12-4pm party), however our drop offs can be as early as 7am.

All you need is to be home, show us the setup location, and provide power access. We'll handle the rest.

What if I don't have enough space?

Consider hiring a local hall, school, community centre or friend's backyard. Many venues with high ceilings can accommodate our castles indoors. (each castle has minimum space requirements be sure to check these out).

Does someone need to supervise the Jumping Castle hire?

Yes. A responsible adult (18+) must supervise at all times. We provide training, or hire a supervisor from us. (costs apply)

Can I hire a Jumping Castle in a public park?

Yes - with council approval. Councils may charge a small fee. We can provide insurance certificates and trained supervisors if required.

Why are Jump Easy, Jumping Castle so safe?

At Jump Easy all of our equipment is the best in the industry! All of our castle at every hire.
Whilst it is no longer required after 2013 we have our castles inspected by a Worksafe SA recommended engineer before we deem them fit for hire. All of our Jumping Castles meet requirements of the Australian Standard 3533, which is the most comprehensive standard worldwide.

Do you have Insurance?

Yes we carry $20,000,000 in product and public liability insurance with the leading provider in the amusement industry. A copy of our certificate of currency is available on request.

Who is liable during the hire?

In terms of the castle being set up safely and fit for operation we are: that's our job! In terms of how the kids use the castle it is up to the hirer who has been instructed by us on the safe use of the castle. Just like it is the driver of a rental cars responsibility to drive it carefully. If we are supervising: we are responsible.

What is your weather policy?

If heavy rain or winds over 40km/h are forecast, we reserve the right to cancel for safety. We will refund in full or offer suitable alternatives like smaller patio-friendly inflatables. Please see below for some of our suitable "wet weather appropriate" products.

What power is required?

A 240volt (normal domestic type) power point should be within 20m of the jumping castle and at most 40m (please inform us if it is further than 20m so we can be prepared). This power point should be on its own circuit, not with any other high amp drawing electrical devices. If this is not possible the hire will require a petrol blower or generator with an additional cost.

Slushy Machines

How long do they take to set up?

Setting up the machines is a very quick and easy process. Our delivery driver will wheel in the machine to the area that you would like it set up, fill the machine with your chosen cocktail mix and turn the machine on. This whole process generally takes less than 10 minutes. The Slushy Machines take roughly 1 hour to freeze.

There should be condensation on the outside of the slushie machines bowls after 20 mins of being turned on. In the case that this has not occurred please call us. (troubleshooting below)

  • check that the switches are set to freezing
  • check that the auger switches are turned on
  • switch the slushy machine off and on twice
  • ensure that the machine has at least 30cm of clear space around it
  • If no mix comes out when frozen, place a cup or bowl under spout and push a straw up the spout to dislodge an ice crystal.

Popcorn Machines

Are they easy to use?

Yes!! Our Popcorn Machines are extremely easy to use, they are fuss free. All you need to do is as follows

  • Turn the machine on and let warm up for 3 - 4 minutes
  • Add 1/4 cup of oil to the kettle
  • Add 1 cup of corn kernels to the kettle (we provide the measuring cups)
  • Shut the kettle lid
  • Let the corn pop for about 3 mins (until popping has stopped)
  • Open kettle lid and lower kettle to empty
  • Add 1 tsp of butter salt to the popped corn and mix

This process is then repeated with each cup of corn kernel producing over 5 bags of popcorn.

Fairy Floss Machines

Are they easy to use?

Yes! Our Fairy Floss Machines are really user friendly. You simply add a scoop (provided) of the fairy floss mix into the spinner head and twirl it onto the stick as the spun sugar mix comes out. You will be a professional in a couple of minutes! Please follow the directions below.

  • Turn on the machine
  • Set the voltage to 220 volts (this is automatic in some of the machines)
  • Let the machine heat up for 4 minutes
  • Add 1 scoop of the sugar mix directly into the spinner head
  • Take a stick and run it around the bowl, in an anti-clockwise direction, turning it constantly in your hand
  • Its that easy!

Do I need to provide anything?

There is nothing that you need to provide except for one standard power point and a sturdy table to put the machine on.(No trestle tables for Slushie machines due to weight)

Do I need to clean the machine/s?

Simple answer is no, this is all part of our service. We just ask that you empty all machines after use. We guarantee you will be delivered a clean machine every time!

Are bookings subject to Terms and Conditions?
